Welcome to the first post on my brand new site!
I quietly took my website offline (shout out to everyone who reached out to let me know my site was down!) and devoted hundreds of hours to making my website into a more robust resource for new clients, loyal regulars, and my community. I’m so excited to finally share what I’ve been working on behind the scenes.
What's new?
There are so many new additions to explore. I'll go into more detail about each feature in future posts, but here are some of my favorites:
Mini Sessions - This page is where I plan to post all upcoming mini sessions, share wait lists for future sessions, and even collect suggestions for future session themes. I also have a section dedicated to my dream sessions where you can express interest in future creative sessions that I would love to put together.
Client Wardrobe - This is where you can view the dresses and gowns I have available in Client Wardrobe separated by size and type. The catalog is growing and I do have several dresses that still need to be photographed. Stay tuned as the collection grows even larger in 2026.

New Editing Options - For nearly a decade, I have developed a signature editing style with warm, romantic tones. I'm so proud of this style, but I also recognize that sometimes it doesn't suit the mood of the gallery. That's why I'm breaking all the rules and offering more than one editing style. Starting in 2026, all preview galleries will show photos edited in multiple styles and you'll be able to select which version you like best for your gallery.
Business - This area is dedicated to the services I provide for businesses and organizations. I've added information about Branding + Headshots, Culinary + Commercial, and Social Media + Content Creation. Stay tuned as I share more information about these pages individually in future posts.
Creative - This is where I'll share other (sometimes not photo-related) creative projects and occasionally open my books for commissions. Exploring other artistic mediums helps me stay fresh creatively and I really enjoy sharing that aspect of my life. I've always shared on my personal social media platforms, but I wanted to open the door to my creative world and share things that contribute to my artistry here as well.
Community - If you know me personally, you know that I love volunteering and finding ways to give back to our community. Until now, this isn’t something I’ve shared publicly because I’ve always believed that the most meaningful things we do don’t need recognition. As my work has grown, I’ve realized that creating a space to share these projects can help connect people and provide resources, gallery access, and opportunities for others to get involved as well.
This page will serve as a central place for community event galleries, local collaborations, and volunteer-based sessions. My hope is that it not only makes it easier for families and organizations to access their photos, but also highlights the kindness, creativity, and heart within our local area.
Why the change?
In the past, I've relied mostly on social media and word-of-mouth to share my work. This has been wonderful, but over the years, I’ve watched social media platforms rise, evolve, and sometimes fade away. (At risk of aging myself, I still remember the early MySpace days when sharing photos and connecting online felt brand new)
So much has changed since then, and it’s made me realize the importance of having a creative space that’s entirely my own. As platforms come and go, my goal is to make this website the true heart of my work and the place where everything lives in one beautiful, intentional space.
I’ll still use social media to connect and share glimpses of what I’m creating, but my hope is that my website becomes the home for deeper storytelling.
As always, I’m so grateful for everyone who’s supported me through each season of growth and evolution. My hope is that this space feels like an open door into my creative world.
