Planning 2026 Mini Sessions

It's time to start planning mini sessions for the year!


What's a mini session?

Mini sessions are a fun and simple way to capture meaningful moments without the time commitment of a full session. Each one is thoughtfully designed with a unique theme or seasonal concept and sessions usually last 10-15 minutes.


I almost always host Fall and Holiday-themed sessions in October and November, but I've also hosted others such as Mom + Me, Summer Picnic, Flower Field, etc.

Planning for 2026

As I start planning my mini session calendar for the year, I’d love to know what types of sessions you’re most excited about and what you’ve been dreaming of, but haven’t seen offered yet!


Here are some ideas I had for this year. Cast your vote below (you can vote for more than one answer).


2026 Mini Session Ideas

Here's a brief description of each option:

Lemonade Stand: These would be only for younger kiddos (ages 2-10) in the summer. Think barrels of lemons, yellow flowers, and vintage vibes. Prince/Princess: Dreamy, storybook-inspired sessions for kids who would like to dress as their favorite animated prince or princess Flower-Picking: Garden setting, buckets of blooms everywhere! Studio - All White Background: Simple sessions with an all white backdrop. Location would depend on studio rental availability. Winter Wonderland on the Beach: A wintery twist for photos along the shoreline. I'd love to incorporate soft neutrals, cozy layers, and use the ice shelf as backdrop (from a safe distance -they almost look like small mountains!). These would take place in February. Tea Party: Vintage-inspired tea party set up with mismatched china and florals. This theme is also on my list of Dream Sessions. Click here to join the wait list and be notified if/when these are scheduled! Pet Sessions: A relaxed, personality-driven session that celebrates the bond between you and your pets. We'll be capturing their quirks, affection, and the joy they bring into your everyday life. Mom + Me: Sessions that capture the connection between mother and child, scheduled around Mother's Day in May.
