You've dreamt of this day for as long as you can remember and the time has come for you to choose how you'd like it to be documented. Here's some key information about my approach to weddings that will help determine if we're a good match:

EMOTIONAL IMPACT

Capturing candid, honest moments of love and connection between people is one of my main priorities on wedding days. I want you to be able to look back at your gallery and feel the emotion of your day all over again.

EDITING

My editing style has been described as warm, moody, and romantic. I draw inspiration from different periods of art history to create my signature style.

APPROACH

I mentioned above that capturing candid moments is one of my main priorities. I've found that the best way to accomplish this is to adopt a documentary-style approach and to let these moments of honesty unfold without my interruption or direction. I take this approach for a larger portion of the day, but I love taking a more intentional/fine art approach when it comes to romantic portraits. I use nature, scenery, movement, and architecture to compose intentional images that elicit emotion and feel very grand.

I welcome the opportunity to work with every body type, ability, gender, orientation, and ethnicity. I'm committed to creating a working environment full of love and safety.

PRIORITY

In order to give every wedding the time and attention it deserves, I limit the amount of weddings I accept each year to only ten. This allows me to; dedicate time to assisting with timeline creation, plan an amazing engagement session, hand edit each photo, design albums, and more.

IMAGE VOLUME

I do not place a limit on the amount of photos in your gallery. It's your wedding day and I don't believe you should be limited by a set amount of photos.

With that being said, I do believe in placing priority in quality over quantity. To avoid delivering lots of duplicate images, creating a gallery that's overwhelming to view, and lengthening editing turnaround times, I strive to deliver a minimum of 50-60 fully edited photos per hour of wedding coverage. That calculates to about one photo per minute.

ENGAGEMENTS

Engagements are complimentary with every wedding package. They're an incredibly fun way for us to get to work together and meet each other before your wedding day. During engagements, I'm constantly taking mental notes about which poses you gravitate toward, your chemistry and dynamic together, etc. I think this is a really vital component that makes wedding days flow really well and optimizes our time together. Engagements happen within a 10 mile radius of St. Joseph, MI. Travel options are available for additional travel fees.
